Water For People program countries are currently involved in a strategic planning process that will, among other things, focus our work in-country on specifi c geographical areas, where we will try to apply our developmental approaches at a larger scale to impact more people. Water For People has had tremendous success over the years at community-level work. We are now trying to see if we can work in a way to increase coverage levels in a sustainable way within clear geographical boundaries (encompassing multitudes of villages) so that the impact of our support is more clear and infl uential. The challenge is to see how we can take existing community-based work and bring it to a more profound scale.
